Back to home →I’m Wendy, a product-focused full-stack engineer based in New York. I build software that is reliable, fast, and calm to use, with UX that helps people focus on their work rather than the tool itself.
Most of my experience is in real-world, messy systems such as scheduling workflows, access control, and dashboards that people rely on daily. I enjoy end-to-end work that spans data modeling and backend APIs through to UI interactions and performance tuning.
How I work
I optimize for clarity by writing readable code, choosing sensible abstractions, and designing data models that don’t surprise future me.
I care about performance and edge cases, especially in interactive UIs where “almost works” isn’t good enough.
I like shipping in small iterations: build the core, instrument it, learn from real usage, then polish.
Outside of work, I’m usually exploring markets and building small tools to support my workflows, experimenting with UI polish, or chasing the perfect “simple but premium” aesthetic.
